Angelo Castiglione passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 10th. This news has deeply shaken us, and we are heartbroken and struggling to find words that truly express the depth of our sadness.

Angelo played a significant role within the DeFiChain ecosystem. He was responsible for the DeFiChain YouTube channel, where he regularly shared news and updates with the community. He was also the administrator of the Italian DeFiChain channel, the creator and maintainer of the DeFiChain blog, and an active member of the Marketing SIG.

DeFiChain was a very important part of Angelo’s life, and he truly enjoyed contributing as a highly respected and valued member of the community. He brought warmth, kindness, and sincerity into every interaction and every session we shared with him.

We will truly miss you, Angelo. Thank you for everything you gave to this community, for your dedication, and for the positive spirit you brought with you. You will always be remembered as a trustworthy, kind, and deeply appreciated member of the DeFiChain community.

We invite everyone to take a moment to pause and remember Angelo. Life is not always fair, and moments like these remind us how precious every minute is and how important it is to share love and spend time with our loved ones.

Rest in peace, Angelo. You will not be forgotten.

Angelo Castiglione è venuto a mancare improvvisamente il 10 dicembre. Questa notizia ci ha profondamente scossi, e siamo distrutti, senza trovare parole in grado di esprimere veramente la profondità del nostro dolore.

Angelo ha avuto un ruolo significativo all’interno dell’ecosistema DeFiChain. Era responsabile del canale YouTube di DeFiChain, dove condivideva regolarmente notizie e aggiornamenti con la comunità. Era anche l’amministratore del canale italiano di DeFiChain, il creatore e curatore del blog di DeFiChain, e un membro attivo del Marketing SIG.

DeFiChain era una parte molto importante della vita di Angelo, e lui amava davvero contribuire come membro stimato e rispettato della comunità. Portava calore, gentilezza e sincerità in ogni interazione e in ogni sessione che condividevamo con lui.

Ci mancherai profondamente, Angelo. Grazie per tutto ciò che hai dato a questa comunità, per la tua dedizione e per lo spirito positivo che ci hai sempre trasmesso. Sarai sempre ricordato come un membro fidato, gentile e profondamente apprezzato della comunità DeFiChain.

Voting for the proposal Special DFIP: Strengthening the Community Fund, ended at block height 5,402,147. 🟢 Yes Votes: 3,215 (95.26%) ⚪️ Neutral Votes: 87 (2.58%) 🔴 No Votes: 73 (2.16%) ✅ The proposal reached the minimum approval rate of 66.67%. ✅ The proposal reached the minimum of 1,594 votes. How does this affect DeFiChain? The SDFIP has already been implemented. Adjustments to the BBB when the DUSD–DFI ratio is below 1:4 are ongoing. At the time of posting, 1 dUSD equals 5.08 DFI. Before the implementation of this proposal, only a negligible amount of DFI was entering the Community Fund. With its approval, approximately 58,200 DFI per day from block rewards is now directed to the fund.
