Weekly Update – DUSD Lock, Reward Campaign, Ecosystem Updates, And More!

As another week rolls by, we bring you the latest updates, developments, and opportunities within the DeFiChain ecosystem. Let's get straight into the highlights of this week.
DUSD Lock (Bond) Update: Finally Live
DUSD Bonds went live on the DeFiChain network on 23rd January. This marks a major milestone for the stability and adoption of the DUSD stablecoin. To recap, the rewards for DUSD Bonds will originate from the previously paused BBB. Once live, up to 20 DUSD per block will be distributed, with the 1-year bond receiving 3/8 and the 2-year bond 5/8 of the rewards, as outlined in the DFIP. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon.
Community Reward Campaign: Your Chance to Win
Don't forget that the first of three Community Reward Campaigns is live until January 31st, with a focus on highlighting DeFiChain across various platforms. This two-week-long quest offers multiple tasks, each completion bringing you closer to winning a share of the 1,000 DFI prize pool.

- Octo DeFi: Introduced at the Munich meet-up, Octo DeFi is an intuitive crypto wallet that aims to make DeFi more accessible by allowing easy management of assets across multiple chains.
