Weekly Update - DeFi Meta Chain Progress, DFIPs And The Latest Voting Round

We're back with another round of updates to keep you informed about the latest happenings in the DeFiChain ecosystem. From the DeFi Meta Chain Roadmap progress to DFIP activation, CFP payouts, and more, we've got a lot to share. So let's get started!
DeFi Meta Chain Roadmap Progress
DeFi Meta Chain is continuing to make significant progress, and we're excited to announce that the next stage, Floppynet, will be live soon. This development is part of our ongoing commitment to advancing the DeFiChain ecosystem and providing cutting-edge solutions for our users. DFIP: Reduced DUSD Collateral Factor
Following the community's approval, the DeFi Improvement Proposal (DFIP) for reducing the DUSD collateral factor from $1.2 to $1 will be activated at Block Height 2877281, estimated to occur on April 25th, 2023, at 11:22 pm (UTC). This change will be implemented gradually, with the collateral factor decreasing by $0.005 every 2880 blocks for a total of 115,200 blocks (estimated 40 days).
Latest Voting Round CFP Updates
We're happy to announce that payments from the latest voting round have been approved for three Community Funding Proposals (CFPs). The payout process is currently underway. You can view the approved CFPs below:
- CFP: defichain-trader.com: This proposal recognizes and supports the valuable work done by "defichain-trader" in the DeFiChain community over the past months.
- Appreciation of the work done by Kügi in the community in the last months: A proposal to show appreciation for Kügi's outstanding contributions.
- mydefichain-Ocean-2023: A project aimed at improving the DeFiChain ecosystem.
