DeFiChain Update Alert: Version 4.0.8 Released

The DeFiChain Labs team is thrilled to announce the node release version 4.0.8, featuring crucial fixes and enhancements designed to improve your DeFiChain experience. If you're on 4.0.6/4.0.7 and use EVM logs, it's time to update. For others, enjoy a smooth drop-in upgrade.

Key updates include:

  • EVM log index fix.
  • Stability upgrades.
  • New Node health RPC: getnodestatusinfo.
  • Enhancements to EVM Filter & database integrity.
  • Improved gas fee handling.

Cake Group Commits 20 Million $DFI to Support DeFiChain's DUSD Repeg Mission

The Cake Group Board has unanimously decided to support the DeFiChain community's repeg mission by purchasing $DUSD with 20 million $DFI, to be executed in the coming days. This $DFI, part of the Group's 2023 revenue which was not sold for BTC or USD, will be used to bolster community efforts.

Cake Group has secured 1,664 dBTC (~$70M value) over two years by substituting customer BTC conversions on Bake with profits, showcasing their dedication to the community. Deposited funds are 1:1 backed, verifiable on our Proof of Reserves page, but we're not liable for externally wrapped DeFiChain coins.

Project Spotlight Community Spaces

The DeFiChain Labs team is back with the first round of project spotlight community spaces on X for 2024. Project Spotlights aim to shine a light on projects built on DeFiChain and deep dive into what they're building with the teams behind the projects.

Ecosystem Project Updates

Javsphere

Javsphere's $JAV token launches on the MetaChain layer with a new video detailing engagement in #RealYield, token fundamentals, DUSD Staking, TradeX, and an airdrop.

Version 2.5.2 of Javsphere enables any wallet to be used directly via mobile browsers, bypassing MM for app access.

Crypto Factor

Crypto Factor is set to publish its Whitepaper in the coming week, inviting interested parties to explore their upcoming offerings. The project is gearing up for the first of four presale rounds starting on February 2nd, offering an opportunity to acquire $CFR tokens.

MillionPixelDFI

In January, MillionPixelDFI burned 2752 $dUSD and donated an additional 1372 $DFI and 130 $dUSD to DMC Universe, marking another month of token reduction and community support.
