DeFiChain Lands in India!

Exciting news for our community as DeFiChain makes its mark in India! CoinDCX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in the country, has now added support for DFI with Indian rupee (INR) and Tether (USDT) trading pairs. This listing opens up DeFiChain to a whole new region and builds on DeFiChain Labs' recent push to increase DeFiChain's global availability and adoption into new regions.

Tech Talk with Prasanna

Prasanna, the Head of Engineering at DeFiChain, took to YouTube for the latest Tech Talk with DZ. During the talk, Prasanna covered various topics from CFP to 2024 roadmap to existing questions from the community.

New Special DFIP: DUSD Stabilization Fee

A new DeFiChain Improvement Proposal (DFIP) aims to maintain DUSD's $1 peg through a dynamic DEX stabilization fee.

The DFIP proposes a dynamic discount fee to stabilize DUSD's value, discouraging low-price sales and aiming to maintain or exceed a $1 peg. Detailed rules govern fee adjustments based on DUSD's market price.

DeFiChain Desktop Wallet Update

The DeFiChain Desktop Wallet recently received an update from the Birthday Research team to ensure compatibility with the newest node software, version 4.0.9.

This maintenance release brings the wallet interface up to date with the latest optimizations and features on the DeFiChain network backend.

Key improvements include:

• Upgraded to DeFiChain node version 4.0.9
• Enhanced UI/UX: Click functionality on the cancel button for the snapshot download page now enabled!

DeFiChain Labs’ First Meet-Up in Singapore

DeFiChain Labs will hold its first official meetup event in Singapore - "Unlocking Opportunities in DeFi" on February 29th. The evening gathering aims to connect Web3 developers, blockchain enthusiasts, and the regional crypto community to explore the growing DeFiChain ecosystem.
